Safety issues

Would have given a higher review as the gentleman who sold us our car were very accommodating and helpful but unfortunately we was lied to in regards to work done on the vehicle. Was told there was no advisory’s on the previous MOT but when checked ourselves found the front brake pads needing doing as they was low. When confronted about this the seller completed another MOT and confirmed the break pads had been changed. Upon completion of sale we took the vehicle to another garage to have it checked over. This highlighted that in fact the break pads were never change and only had about another week of wear left on them. This was extremely distressing as I have a young child who of often in the car with myself and the seller was aware of this! In hindsight we was sold a vehicle that very shortly would have become unsafe to drive. I can’t deny that when we confront the seller regarding this he did pay for the work done but this should have not happened in the first place. The car was sol
